EBI Foundation Services is a suite of products
designed to make the management of Oracle
Financial Services Applications (OFSA) and OFSAA
easier.
Comprising 5 modules, this product performs a
number of tasks such as:
Easy to
use, secured
web-based
interface.

- Building OFSA Tree Rollup IDs (hierarchies)
from an Excel spreadsheet add-in.
- Intelligently set up leaf attributes based
on their underlying properties.
- Enhanced leaf synchronization.

analyzing your database and processing rules to
recommend and implement performance enhancing
strategies.
- Migrate reports from one database to
another.
EBI Foundation Services delivers this
functionality in an easy to install package that
you can have up and running in a matter of
minutes.
Applications Migration Workbench
Intuitive
navigator screen helps
you with context
sensitive help.The ID Migrator module enables you to move OFSA
IDs from a development database to test and then
onto production at the push of a button.
You can selectively move IDs based on their
type, security folder or creator, or you can
perform a global operation to clone all IDs in the
source database.
The AMW can also migrate IDs between version
4.5.39 and 5.0 allowing you to easily migrate to
the latest Oracle applications stack.
Tree Builder
The Tree Builder functionality is a part of the
Leaf & Hierarchy Manager module. Using a
spreadsheet template, you can build and maintain
your OFSA hierarchies in an Excel spreadsheet and
then simply upload these structures into your OFSA
database.
You can also load hierarchies directly from
your Oracle General Ledger using the E-Business
integration function.

Performance Optimizer
The Performance Optimizer module is the result
of years of experience in performance tuning for
OFSA & OFSAA at CamArch.
This module contains a series of packages that
analyze, report, recommend and implement
performance enhancing strategies within your OFSA
system.
Our testing results show that this module can
improve system performance by up to 60% thereby
ensuring that you get the most from your OFSA
solution.
Report Migrator
The Report Migrator module is designed to move
your Discoverer based OFSA reporting layers from
database to database. Similar to the ID Migrator,
this tool enables you to selectively move either a
single business area or an entire End-User-Layer
(EUL).

Managing
leaves is a snap! EBI Foundation Services R10, the next
generation of tools and utilities for the Oracle
Performance Management solutions is scheduled for
release in 2011. Many new features are planned
including process automation and workflow as well
as a new ID Migration facility that will make
movement and version control of application IDs
between development and production environments
much simpler.
Also included will be a more advanced OFSAA
workflow manager.
